Melanie + Wayne…..Married !

Its the 3rd March its been raining for days and like a bit of divine intervention it finally looks like the rain will stay away for Melanie & Wayne. The drive to Gympie for the wedding was clear, no roads were flooded and everyones fingers were crossed. Sadly 30 min before the ceremony it started again but then eased to almost nothing while Melanie & Wayne exchanged vows in an outside service at Gunable Homstead. No sooner was the ceremony done we heard the call “here comes the rain again”. Between showers we managed some beautiful shots outside but the inside shots using lights and candles are a standout, it was so much fun to be able to get really creative and see what we could produce. Congratulations Melanie & Wayne, thank you for being such wonderful people and allowing me to share in your day…..Congratulations !

Felicia + Stacy…..Married !

Welcome to Felicia & Stacy beautiful wedding day. Iwas really excited about this wedding for reasons im really not sure about, i just had a feeling that this wedding was going to be something very special. Felicia & Stacy had their ceremony at the stunning Yandina Station and we stayed on site for their photos. I want to say a big thank you to Felicia & Stacy for putting with my “can we can we can we” and thanks to your bridal party for keeping me on my toes all day…..it was such great fun with you guys, i can say with total certainty that these images are my best yet so thank you both for being awesome.

Alice + James……..Married !

Alice & James…….A very special wedding. To everyone who atteneded this wedding, it was not a wedding they were attending rather an engagement party. Imagine everyones surprise when Alice & James walk in in wedding attire and spring it on everyone that they were actually married. It was a very small wedding ceremony only attened by parents of the bride and groom. I was lucky enough to be flown to the Hunter Valley to shoot this wonderful event and it was very exciting to see some long time friends get married in such style. The ceremony was held at the Family property then we ventured to Lindermans winery for the vinyard images followed by a few stops at random places i spotted on the way to a private lunch with the parents. After lunch we headed to Hope Estate where Farmer Wants a Wife is shot to grab a few images in the Barrel Room then get picked by the helicopter to head to the surprise reception and the Chelmsford Hotel. Congratulations Alice & James and thank you for sharing your day with me

Jemma + Jake were married in a beautiful ceremony at Flaxton Gardens that was warm, loving and surrounded by friends and family. Jemma & Jake had a short photo session at Flaxton Gardens befor going off site to a private property close by for a more personal feel. True to our style when the sun set and the amazing moon came out we took the opportunity to go out in the dark to take some stunning night images.

Congratulations Jemma & Jake, thank you, we had a great time !

They say that rain on your wedding day is good luck…….but all day ? Really ? Although it rained all day it didnt dampen the spirits of Jules & Shane, they had a great time and it could have almost been a trash the dress shoot on the wedding day. Julie & Shane had their ceremony at Mary Cairncross Park in Maleny with an indigenous feel incorporating Drummers at the ceremony and dancers at the reception. Their reception was held at Key Restaurant in Maleny where everyone witnessed a very spirited bridal dance. Congratulations Jules & Shane, thank you for allowing Renee and i share in your amazing day. I hope you had a great time.
